The Project „EQUAL CHANCE ON THE LABOUR MARKET” increases the opportunity for underprivileged people to retain their jobs in seven regions in sectors, organisations and jobs endangered from the point of view of employment: people with low education, the Romas, women, single parents, heads of families with a lot of children, people over 45 and handicapped people. The Project offers a development with three pillars (employer, employee and organisations for representation of interests, social partners):
Pillar 1: training based on individual development plans linked with developing skill and ability as well as with providing mentor and coaching services
Pillar 2: training leaders of employers and HR people to extend their knowledge and to prepare them so that they incorporate and enforce the policy expectations of equal opportunities and community employment in their organisations
Pillar 3: organisations for representation of interests (social partners) training to improve co-operation of employers and employees.
Indirect goals of the Project:
· to decrease the disadvantages within labour market
· to increase the possibility for underprivileged social strata to remain on the labour market
· to decrease unemployment by means of prevention
· to develop HR management system to enforce equal treatment
· to develop organisational culture sensitive to equal opportunities
· to improve the ability of adaptiveness
Direct goals of the Project:
To develop by means of training basic skills and IT skills based on individual development plan of competence and by means of rendering mentor services of career for underprivileged employees in seven regions of the country.
Target group:
1000 underprivileged employees: women and men over 45, Romas and people with handicap and with some sort of disablement (700 people) as well as parents from paid child-welfare and single parents (300 people)
On of the new and innovative elements of Project is the INSIGHTS method, which comes from Scotland. Therefore, the information for the adaptation of method is available at this international partner. Exchange programs seem to suit best to exchange experiences. |
